Christmas/New Years

Hi again!
Christmas was wonderful this year for our family. Nana (my mom) came the 2nd week of December for an extended trip. She made it on time to see Tijanna's school Christmas Program and attend a Girl Scout meeting and class Christmas Party.

Santa was good this year to us all. As most of you know Santa leaves 3 presents at our house to remind us the true meaning behind Christmas. It was nice to spend the holidays in our home with Nana.

We also were able to walk through our neighborhood to look at the Christmas lights and to work off some of that Christmas dinner and pie.

One afternoon we were sitting at home..the girls were bursting out the seams of the house. A phone call came from my cousin Arwen and her kids. They were visiting her in laws ironically only about two blocks away. We met them at the local park for play and a nice visit.

Aarons office closed for the week between Christmas and New Years. Aaron was bored out of his mind...so what do you do? Build a model of course from scraps of left over model making material!
This is a model of Aarons latest project. Montana Club Kalispell. That's right all you Flathead people! Montana Club has broke ground in the old Saw Bucks site and Aaron did it!

Even though we were in bed by 10:30 New Years Eve we didn't miss the fireworks being set off at the park only two blocks away!

Nana also decided Tijanna should try her hands at the piano. She gave Tijanna lessons while she visited and Tija enjoyed it VERY much. Her Violin teacher also teaches piano and has mentioned several times she would love to have Tija try piano also....we'll see.

Yesterday we drove to Columbia Falls and dropped Nana off at my grandparents. She will get on the train tomorrow for Sandpoint (her home)

We then went to Papa and Granma Barbs to stay the night and swim in the "pool" as Jorga says it. (its actually a hot tub) Aunt Becki, Uncle Gerry and cousins Nick and Micah always come over to visit when we swing through town.

Papa and his girls.

Our drive home was uneventful and the weather was nice...The view is always beautiful.

Almost home....

Well our new year has begun quite nicely. Again we are thankful for our jobs, a home, and food in our belly's BUT most of all we are thankful for wonderful famliy and friends with whom we share this life. THANK YOU.
