Hello All! Long time no blogging. Much has happened to us, we have been so busy that we have literally had no time to blog. We will begin with the fact that Tijanna's Tempera painting made it into the mall school art show. Only about 50 pieces from St. Joseph made it into the show....and 3 were kindergarten pieces. Out of 350+ kids that was great odds. Way to go Tija.
This is Tijanna standing in front of her flower at the mall art show. We were impressed by her use of colors...also she had a caption on it which they took out which said "life is a flower"
We went to Idaho because we inherited a piano, it was also the last time the girls would see my mom before she would have 1 total knee operation the next day. She is scheduled for her 2nd knee to be done withing 5-6 months.
Here is a picture of our three girls.. Tija, Taylor and Jorga. Taylor is Wanda and Jerrys youngest and our godchild and Tija's best friend.
We were invited to the birthday celebration of Mikayla at Chuck E. Cheeses. Mikayla is the daughter of Eric my sister Nik's friend. Nik and Eric have known each other since "Huckleberry Pre-School" in other words they were 4 years old. They have since reconnected.

My cousin Matt whom I had not seen in years was able to come with his girls... aren't they lovely!

This is my piece of my own medicine....

And her sister...
This is the birthday girl....I think she just lost.

Matt, Bailey and Dalley

Aaron adding up his tickets...he is still going
Well....mom's surgery was a success. Aaron and Tija went home right after Chuck E. Cheeses on Sunday and Jorga and I stayed behind to help a couple days while mom was in surgery. After a great game of Scrabble Wanda, Nik , Jorga and I got the news mom did very well considering her medical history. Jorga and I went home earlier than expected due to a sudden cold..I took this picture 100 miles from home...I couldn't help her so we just kept driving.....

This was her FINALLY just 10 miles from home of course.

We surprised Tijanna by coming a day earlier just in time to bring her to ballet

As part of their earned cookie money Tijanna's Girl Scout troop donated over $800 to their art teacher to fix her kiln. As a thank you she invited them to do a small project.

This past Friday was "Field Day" each kid in the school was assigned to a team. Green, Purple, Red, Blue, Black etc. Tijanna was in the Striped/Plaid team. They played many different games. This is Tija and some kids from her class waiting to begin. Notice Jorga got in the picture.
Purple team, notice some of the outfits...it said "be inventive" in the instructions..had I known we would not have been so conservative....there is always next year!

Toe Tag...
Jorga enjoyed playing on the playground..she had it pretty much to herself.

They had to balance the ball between their heads...Tija is in the red shirt.

Filling a bucket with a sponge...

Tijanna was teammates with her partner Seirra. Sierra is in 5th grade and is her partner for Mass, field trips, reading groups and other all school activities. Sierra's mom is also Tijanna's dentist.
Their whole team (all 18) had to fit in this BIG hula hoop.

They also had to pass a hula hoop through each other against another team and they won!

Race balance a ball on a cone...

We decided it would be nice to make a rock path in the front yard..We opted to get the rocks ourselves instead of buying them....so Saturday we took a drive through Patte Canyon.
No rocks here but some pretty flowers...we actually found the rocks just outside Milltown on Hwy 200 toward Clearwater Junction.

Work the next day....Mothers Day was fabulous. I woke up to breakfast made by my family and a beautiful book from Tijanna made by her class. It was each person in her class telling about their moms. shhhh Tija's was the best. I also got a new sewing machine and some new plants for outside...oh and I also got a new pair of shoes...GOSH it was like Christmas at our house...but only for MOMS! Great Day

Chuck E Cheese is by far, one of our kids' favorite places to go! We get coupons from their website and have a hayday!
